I spent a really lovely few hours with Lydia and Kilian for their small, intimate wedding celebration with a ceremony at the iconic Old Marylebone Town Hall followed by a drinks reception and dinner at The Duke of Wellington.
Old Marylebone Town Hall is one of my favourite London ceremony venues and I’ve been fortunate to photograph many weddings there. It’s warm and welcoming with beautiful ceremony spaces and a wonderful, imposing exterior for confetti, group photos and portraits.
Following a lovely civil ceremony with lots of personal touches, Lydia, Kilian and I took a stroll around Marylebone while guests made their way to the nearby Duke of Wellington. We were blessed with perfect spring weather and enjoyed a relaxed wander around the quiet backstreets and gorgeous little mews’, and Lydia’s dramatic Eva Lendel dress looked spectacular.
We then joined the guests at the drinks reception, which was just so relaxed and joyful. Lot’s of sharing food, children running around and little cosy chats happening everywhere. A perfect, intimate family celebration of really lovely couple.
Thank you Lydia and Kilian for a really beautiful afternoon.
