This was such a special one. Kate and Martin held a sun-drenched wedding weekend at the incredible Chateau Engalin - a modern, spacious estate in South West France. With a relatively small group of close friends and family joining for the whole weekend, it was a wonderfully relaxed and intimate celebration, coordinated superbly by French-bague-ette.
Kate and Martin got ready in separate rooms at the chateau before heading to the stunning ruined chapel for their afternoon ceremony. Kate wore a simple and stylish long-sleeved dress from Andrea Hawkes, with her bridesmaids in perfectly mis-matched shades of green. Floral arrangements created by Jungle Utopia were in a gorgeous neutral palette.
Following a moving and personal ceremony, guests strolled to a drinks reception at the spectacular pool area. And then it was onto a lovely, long dinner outside the chateau.
As the sun set, Kate, Martin and I enjoyed a wander around the grounds to make the most of the beautiful scenery and some perfect golden hour light.
Guests continued to enjoy incredible food and some wonderful speeches well into the night, as well as many espresso martinis and a lot of dancing.
This was an unforgettable day with wonderful people and I hope to return to the exquisite Chateau Engalin in the future!
I was also lucky enough to have this wedding featured on the incredible Together Journal, where you can see a full write-up from Kate and Martin themselves.
