Sarah and Sam celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Ebrington Manor, a private home in the Cotswolds which holds a limited number of weddings each year. Boasting a stunning main house, spectacular gardens, a lakeside marquee and a church just next door, it’s the perfect location for a laid back, country garden wedding. The day was planned to perfection by Golden Pineapple Hospitality.
Sarah got ready in the main house with Sam and his groomsmen getting ready in a pub nearby. Sarah chose a beautiful dress from Andrea Hawkes, featuring long sleeves and a high neck crafted in the most intricate lace. Her flowers, in bold jewel tones, were created by Your Cotswold Florist.
Sarah and Sam chose a traditional church ceremony followed by a lot of confetti and then guests strolled to drinks on the sunny lawns outside the main house. Sarah gave a beautiful and heartfelt speech (prompting the first of many tears I shed that day) before guests made their way to the marquee for dinner.
With the brightly decorated marquee filled with excited chatter, the sun falling low in the sky and the champagne flowing, it was time for some incredibly moving speeches (cue more tears from me). Sarah, Sam and I then popped out for a relaxed stroll through the vineyards as the sun set.
And then the party! These guys really knew how to party, in part thanks to the incredible Truly Medley Deeply providing the entertainment. If you can’t dance to a 90’s boyband megamix then there’s something wrong with you to be honest…
A beautiful day with wonderful people and a real highlight of my 2023 wedding season.
